Contract Negotiations 02/19/2021 and 02/21/2025

Takeaways from 02/19/2025 and 02/21/2025 meetings:

• Negotiations continued meeting in the smaller work group format.
• The small group work continued on the same topic; the 02/21/2025 meeting was the fifth subgroup meeting on this first topic.
• Both parties believe they have an understanding of each side’s viewpoints and requests.
• Progress is still being made; offline work will be done on this topic now.
• The next subgroup meeting for a different “sticking point” topic will begin on Wednesday (2/26).

Dear colleagues,
We continue to have improved negotiations meetings, but the progress is more challenging as we are coming to a conclusion on the first topic for the subgroups.
Both sides agree, at this point, no further subgroup meetings need to take place on this first topic. Offline work should be able to address the remaining issues. That is the intent at the moment.
The second subgroup will begin discussion and collaboration on Wednesday (02/26).
There are four main subgroups HACCEA has proposed. Scheduling is beginning for the third subgroup, but the first meeting date for that subgroup has not yet been finalized.
