Takeaways from 02/06/2025 meeting:
• Negotiations continued meeting in the smaller work group format.
• The small group work continued on the same topic as last week’s meeting.
• Progress continues to be made.
• Both parties agree this format is successful and will continue.

Dear colleagues,
We continue to have much improved negotiations meetings. Real discussion is taking place. Progress is being made. We hope to have the work on this current topic completed by our next meeting.
After that, there are three additional areas of notable disagreement. We identified the next topic for smaller group meetings, and those meetings will commence soon.
The small group format for HACCEA consists of four to five negotiations committee members. Any changes made through the smaller group discussions will be subject to a vote by the full negotiations committee.
Both HACC Admin and HACCEA verbally stated their desire to get the contract done.
